Turkish club Basaksehir linked with move for Ozil

Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir are reportedly the latest club to be linked with a move for Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil.

The reports claim that the former Germany International is wanted by both Real Madrid and Inter Milan. However Real Madrid will not be making any moves for the 30-year-old any time soon and Inter Milan are only interested in a loan deal for now.

However, German newspaper Bild quotes Basaksehir president Goksel Gumusdag saying that he is interested in bringing Ozil to the Super Lig club.

“Mesut Ozil is a precious player,” Gumusdag said. “I hope one day our paths will cross at Basaksehir. If he wants to be with us as well, we would do anything to get him.”
