Manchester United will reportedly allow Wales international Daniel James to leave Old Trafford this summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old started the opening match for the Red Devils against Leeds United but remained an unused substitute in the subsequent league match at Southampton.
He made only 11 Premier League starts for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side last season, scoring three goals and an assist in the process (stats from Transfermarkt).
The talented winger was due to be handed a new deal at Old Trafford after several clubs showed interest in him earlier this summer.
However, as per The Sun, United will now let him leave after they signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus.
It is said that interested clubs Everton, Leeds United, Brighton and Crystal Palace have been told to make their bids for the Welsh footballer.
Dan James started his youth career at Hull City before switching to Swansea City in 2014.
He earned his competitive debut for the Swans in February 2018 and went on to make 39 appearances across all competitions for them.
The 23-year-old joined Manchester United in the summer of 2019 in a deal worth around £15 million.
Since his arrival at the Theatre of Dreams, he has clocked up 73 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals and creating nine assists in the process.
