Atletico Madrid not willing to sell Arsenal and Manchester United linked Kieran Trippier

Arsenal reportedly made an enquiry about Kieran Trippier who is currently on the books of Atletico Madrid.

However, they were rebuffed by the La Liga giants who are unwilling to let the 30-year-old leave for less than £51 million, as per Spanish outlet AS.

Both the Gunners and Manchester United have been linked with a move for the experienced right-back in this transfer window.

But the Spanish outfit are said to rate the English footballer very highly.

And so, they are not interested to let him go for a cut-price.

Despite the 30-year-old’s desire to return to the Premier League, Diego Simeone’s side have rebuffed an enquiry from the London side.

Atletico Madrid, who landed the La Liga title last season, view the England international as a key member of the team and are not willing to sell him.

Mikel Arteta’s side will be aiming to finish in the Top Four by the end of the 2021-22 season.

They look vulnerable at the back and want to bring defensive reinforcements to strengthen their ranks.

The Londoners suffered a humiliating 2-0 defeat against Brentford in the opening league match.

They will now lock horns with Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.
