Manchester United top-earner, Alexis Sanchez, is seething after Jose Mourinho’s latest power move.
The relationship between player and manager has fractured after the Chilean didn’t make the bench for Tuesday night’s Champions League victory over Young Boys despite being fully fit.
Sanchez, who earns more than £500,000-per-week at United, sees no way back whilst Mourinho is in charge and has reportedly issued a come and get me plea to French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
With question marks over his omission from the squad, Mourinho announced the forward was not injured and it has been suggested that this was done deliberately to signal he was dropped.
Mourinho made sweeping changes to the squad that drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace on Saturday and moved Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku to the bench but decided to leave Sanchez at home.
His exclusion surprised many as he played in United’s famous 2-1 away win over Juventus in their last Champions League outing and came on as a sub in the Palace game.
However, the 29-year-old has struggled for form and confidence recently and has only scored one Premier League goal this season.
The former Arsenal star has failed to live up to his reputation since moving from the Gunners last January but this latest spat has added him to the list of players growing disaffected under Mourinho.
Sanchez has reportedly told his agent to secure him a move to Paris to link-up with the likes of Neymar, Kyliann Mbappe and Edinson Cavani at the French champions.
